Wow that would suck.
The current situation suits me fine. I have Sky as well as ESPN but i bet Sky will introduce PPV and if that happens i won't be paying to simply record the event. I love MMA but i'm not staying up til 6am to watch an event no matter how good it is.
Edit - just seen this...
Agree with a lot of that.
I train very hard but still eating too much crap. Its tough but you just go to be as strict as possible. You'll know when you've been bad and its a matter of balancing it out. I'm lucky that i have an important tournament coming up (racquetball) that i went to be as...
It depends what weight he usually is at for LW bouts i suppose, but i'm just guessing he's lighter than he normally would be for a LW fight considering he only fought at FW a few days ago. But if he cuts weight much less for LW then it doesn't matter.
By the way guys check out Jordan Mein's...
Thanks for the reply's, appears Leben did it then, wasn't actually expecting anyone to have had two fights so close to each other. For me the weird thing though is that he's changing weight classes as well. Someone says he weighed in at 159 on fight week which is fair enough but for all we know...
Maybe, i dunno it just seems a little soon to me. I hope he still is in top shape and isn't getting too carried away. Surely he'd cut for lightweight too though no?
Oh and as much as the hype has been way OTT, there's also been a lot of people degrading his grappling and BJJ even though they've only seen him in one fight (which was all stand up). He's not just a boxer by any means.
Posted this in another thread about 10 minutes ago but look up his fight v Dave Hill. Hill was 10-2, 7 submission wins and had never been stopped. It shows McGregor's all round game and he wins the fight by submission. Hill is trained by Marc Goddard.
Does anyone know for sure if the first fights count? If so i'd probably give sub to Cella. If not then Kelvin v Josh. KO and fight are pretty straight forward.
Look up his fight v Dave Hill. Hill has a 10-3 record and his loss v McGregor is the only time he's been finished. 7 of Hills wins were submissions and this is the only McGregor fight that he has won by submission - all the rest are TKO/KO's.
It shows another side to Conors game. Hill is...
Sport changes very quickly so those writing off the chances of a European UFC champion might get a suprise sometime soon. There are a few who are only one or two wins away from a title shot as well as others breaking through.
Also some people need to realise that MMA isn't just restricted to...
Hopefully McGregor as i'm Irish but i'm just looking forward to seeing two exciting fighters make an impact on their divisions. I'm a fan of both guys.
I'm in Ireland and I get ESPN free with the sports package on sky so i hope i don't end up having to pay for another channel. Not sure I could justify it when I only record it and watch it Sunday.
Mmmm, we'll see. He didn't exactly shine v Kelvin either. He has somehow got on the main card so lets see what happens but he doesn't look UFC standard to me.
