Smith was largely complimentary about Alex. Poatan just sounds butthurt here.

Yeah Smith says Alex is a good technical striker but then Alex says he doesn't appreciate people downplaying his technical skills after everything he has accomplished so it seems likely something was mistranslated there.

Either way, it seems likely that they will cross paths at some point so maybe Alex is just selling the fight ahead of time. If Alex doesn't already like him and think he's an good matchup to rack up another brutal knockout, makes sense he would jump into this promo without doing his homework.

So much saltiness about Smith for some reason. He's a journeyman/gate-keeper with some big wins and a nice run or two. He's also fought much, much more competition, and generally higher, than Alex has...for large swaths of his career. I think they're both right, but Alex got triggered by it. Would love to see Alex lose his next fight, and then face Smith. That should settle it

This isn't as bad as most of the things Smith says, sometimes he comes across as pretty intelligent and respectful, and then next hes stating that he would fire all of his coaches if they threw in the towel while he's be blasted by 4 guys with samurai swords.
