Anybody here living the podcast life?

I mostly listen to Bigfoot podcasts and a little paranormal ones too.

Sasquatch Chronicles is amazing and my favourite!

The Confessionals is second for me.

Monsters Among us is good too.

The Unexplained with Howard Hughes is quite good, depending on who the guest is.

Hardcore history, Ted Talks. MMA Hour. And a few others.

Yeah, the bro-logic has really kept me away from Rogan TBH. I’ve heard enough of it to annoy the shit out of me.

His podcast would be great if he just shut the fuck up. One of the best podcasts I've ever heard was David Lee Roth on JRE (ep. 300 or something). Joe literally says about 50 words in 2hrs and it was great.

@Dinamita09 isn’t Theo Von that dude from Road Rules?

yeah my new favorite content, makes work infinitely more bearable..I started with Rogan but have mostly given up on JRE, there's a lot of interesting shit out there. Levar Burton Reads is my new favorite, mostly right before I go to bed since I don't really read anymore lol..

Aside from Rogan do you guys get down on some podcasts?

I used to be a TV/Movie nerd but I had to change that and now I have been finding myself following podcasts. Honestly there is some fantastic stuff out there.

Any recommendations for true crime, languages, history etc...

I have been following most of the Earwolf stuff Comedy bang bang, Teachers Lounge, Andy Daly, Spontanation, how did this get made.

I bookmarked a bunch of podcasts about language recently, but I haven't gotten around to listening to them. I'll share them anyways, though:

And if you're looking for a podcast that discusses how to actually go about learning languages, then there's one called Actual fluency

I drive a ton for my work so I usually listen to podcasts. Outside of Christian stuff there's a podcast called True Crime Garage. Pretty cool. They go through random unsolved murder cases and give different theories on what happened.

Also Jocko Podcast is classic.

the occasional Theo Von, Chris D'Elia, Bobby Lee, Tom Segura/your mom's house.

Yeah, that’s the difference between Rogan and somebody like Howard Stern. Stern is a master interviewer—he knows how to get the fuck out of the way of his interviewee so they can shine. There are so many times when I expect Stern to inject some kind of personal story but he exercises incredible self control for the sake of a great interview.

Joe, on the other hand, will find any excuse to insert a 7 minute long martial arts story when speaking with somebody who doesn’t give a shit about martial arts. I really like JRE, but like you, I wish Joe would just STFU sometimes.

Jocko is awesome

Dvdasa was the best podcast and David choe stopped doing it for some reason. Wish it would come back

The square ball podcast is the greatest podcast ever made.

Talking Shutt
Quickly Kevin will he score

Does he talk about it?
No. It doesn't usually come up on the podcast. He discusses a lot about struggles with addiction. He has some interesting guests from time to time. It gives you a variety. Some he seems almost depressed and lost while others are lighthearted and funny. Discusses stand up comedy a fair bit as he's a standup now
