But what's the point of shitting on a guy that you were just marketing as the next big thing. Yeah he had a bad fight, many fighters do. People who watched the fight know it. People who didn't, and care enough, will hear about it. There are other ways to address a bad performance without making it personal. What good does it do, to Dana, the UFC, the fans or the fighter to give this 'more' information about Francis ego or whatever. Maybe he has an ego, and he didn't train, but what's the point of making it public if your end goal is to market this guy?
Imagine your up and coming star basketball player has a bad night. His first bad night, after continuously delivering amazing performances. And then GM or coach goes off on how the player doesn't want to practice, and he parties, and this and that. I would be surprised if that has ever happened in the history of professional sports. You know why? Because they are professionals.
