A draw card here is just as bad as a draw card in the Cotto fight. Truly awful scoring from whoever gave Maidana six rounds in that fight.

Agreed. But I give him the first 5. I could see round 2 going to Floyd, tho. So that would only give him 4.

But he made some of the later rounds close (not close enough to take, but close nonetheless).

Where we disagree is where you suggest that just because it's ugly it isn't effective or worthy of being scored.

I wanna see it, so many fantasy match ups of Floyd vs Ray Leonard etc but we've never seen him with a supremely athletic fighter his size.

Reserve Judgement? Floyd has a long list of criminal charges. I will concede Mayweather is one of boxing's greats, but he is a failure as a human being. The man belongs in prison. How anyone can cheer for this vile scumbag is beyond me.

Over the years, Floyd has had significant issues with women and the criminal justice system in Nevada. In 2002, he pled guilty to two counts of domestic violence. In 2004, he was found guilty on two counts of misdemeanor battery for assaulting two women in a Las Vegas night club.

On another front, Mayweather was on the fringes of an August 2009 shooting incident that took place outside a Las Vegas skating rink. His Rolls Royce was spotted at the shooting scene and one of his associates, Ocie Harris, was indicted on attempted murder charges for shooting at two passengers in another car.

Additionally, in February 2005, Floyd was fined and ordered to perform community service after pleading no contest to misdemeanor assault and battery charges in conjunction with an altercation that took place in a bar in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
