Has humanity experienced a reset?

Interesting ideas and yes highly possible. Im very interested in the many worlds theory of quantum physics being applicable to more than just tiny particles. The idea that there are infinite different dimensions with infinite possibilities. Theres a dimension where Atlantis never sank, one where earth never even existed. One where each of us is a benevolent emperor or vicious tyrant simply because within infinity all that shit is possible.

I think it's likely that many old cities were lost to natural disasters and war, but they were just ordinary-ass cities, and people put the story of their destruction into lore.

Sure, societies that were advanced for their time sometimes got wiped, but they weren't advanced by modern standards.

If they were, there'd be evidence of electronics and plastics and numerous other types of things.

They find artifacts but if were talking whole cities and civilizations then shouldnt there be bone evidence? Like finding something thats 10000 yrs old and another thats 50000 in the same area or am I to believe that Earth was indeed the Planet of the Apes with the primate evolutionary skeletons that have been found

I believe we're at the peak of technology now, but there's definitely been rises and falls along the way.

Just look at the Roman aqueduct and sewer system, took other societies 1000 years to catch up.
Rome, 1000 years ahead of us technologically. What if there's a parallel timeline in which Rome never fell and humanity lives in a super advanced utopia, looking down on us and feeling sorry for us?

What if Terrance McKenna experienced that parallel timeline during an acid trip and spoke about it for 10 minutes?

Well, he did:

Learned in this thread that Teotichuan wasn't built by the Aztecs. Legit didn't know that.

Read that statement in the OP and thought "no way that's true" but apparently it is.

Graham Hancock is a snake oil salesman. Crock of shit!

Lol. I remember when I first met my wife's step-dad shortly after I started dating her about 11 years ago. He and her mom had us over for dinner and he was telling me about Hancock's books and I was just like:

Carl Munck- The code. It has a whole lot of coincidence...

I think this seems more plausible. There perhaps were pre-civilization civilizations, that may have been advanced by ancient stsndards, and had insight to certain things that took our best mathmaticians until a few hundred years ago to figure out. But in terms of having the equivalent to modern electronics, motorized vehicles, communication devices, air and seacraft, etc, it seems highly improbable.

Yep. Occam's razor says no to this theory.

Well I believe in the flat Earth model and there are no meteorites that can hit Earth in it. As far as resets, the great flood was the most obvious reset. God sent the flood on the Earth and wiped out all people aside from 8. Were there other resets? I don't think so but a good proof of a great flood is all the buried ancient cities that have to be excavated.
Why cant their be meteorites that hit earth in your model?

A couple of weeks ago i relapsed back into porn after like 4 months without it.

Self discipline and quest for spirituality reset to level 1 now.

On no fap for second week.

humanatee's only hope...

If we haven't already had one we could sure use one.

Literally just finished Graham Hancock's 'Fingerprints of the Gods' yesterday and his theory is that their is a lost civilization under all the ice in Antartica. Pretty compelling stuff.

They may have been a lot more sophisticated than we give them credit for but they're no way near our level in terms of technology.

I'm sure they had crazy technology to help them build these monoliths but nothing like mechanical cranes that we have. Also, there were no light pollution back in the days so it's easier to see the skies/universe. You don't need a telescope but I wouldn't be surprised if they do have some kind of telescope.

Anyways, great vid and thread. You made me a believer now.

Well, almost every ancient culture had a flood myth and other cataclysmic myths. So clearly something happened at some point.

During pre-history, humanity was probably nearly wiped out at least a couple of times.

we know for sure there are a lot of lost groups and civilizations during even recorded history. like the "sea peoples" a group that kept fucking people up in the eastern mediterranean during the bronze age collapse, mentioned by different people from different civilization but none name who they are... the group was advanced enough to have organization, ships, armies/weapons etc. but we cant find a group that records doing it

we have evidence for 2 huge genetic bottlenecks, where we all descended for one guy, and all descended from one female. they didnt live anywhere near the same time, but the genes from the other males/females didnt survive to present day
