There’s no denying Ilia’s talent. Someone with a jab as good as old man Volk’s, who can keep Ilia at range could have great success though. Unfortunately volk just isn’t as fast as he used to be but he was playing out some good tactics in round 1 despite his diminished self.

I think a fighters chin is like his punch; he either has one or he doesn't.

Of course, training can refine things, but at the end of the day extremes are genetic, IMO.

Not saying Topuria doesn't have a chin, but I can't think of too many thin-faced, slender-necked fighters with granite jaws.
