Crime Man who attacked Pelosi’s husband is convicted of federal assault and attempted kidnapping charges

First question: No. unless they are just joking about it. And you gotta admit (aside from the dude getting a hammer to the head) the context was kinda funny (prior to the solid info surfacing) and if you want to crucify the righties on this board than you gotta do the same for an ungodly about of podcasters on both sides.

Second Question: No
I disagree. There was nothing funny about attempted murder.

Conservatives are children with under developed brains, so when the phone call came out and Paul Pelosi was speaking in code as to not alert the intruder of the nature of the call... they Immediately assumed it was evidence of their moronic "gay lover" theory.

In reality shit like this happens regularly:

OMG IS THIS PIZZAGATE?????
Elon Musk twitter reply would be: "Hmmm, suspicious"

Wrong again (ever get tired of being wrong all the time?)

Attack occurred on the 28th of October
Here is TYT covering it on the 29th:

Bucko, you wont win any arguments against me and you wont sneak any bullshit past me either.
At least double check the false claims you make with such confidence.

I think there needs to be a clapping hands reaction emoji.

It's cracking me up that to this day, these tools are conflating the very understandable question of what was up with their security, with so called red flags like an old man in his boxers late at night, in an attempt to borrow from the reasonable concern and lend that concern to these made up "signs" that something was not as it seemed between Pelosi and his attacker.

They've latched onto it like a baby on a nipple and just won't let it go. Something strange had to be going on because they had already imagined what they wanted it to be, so failing any resemblance to reality they resort to making shit up. There are so many examples of this of late, at least 91 of them, I shouldn't need to cite any, but everything about Stop the Steal was invented out of whole cloth, for a prime example.

lol riiiiiiight.
You would be th eonly person that didn't hear the first reports and find it odd. The whole call was strange, and the way they described the hammer holding, and the way he answered the door, was all weird. Some of it was because the reports were off, and also the statements of the officers were incorrect. But IT WAS strange. Either way, I don;t give a shit about a guy and family that got rich off of insider trading, like most of these scum public officials do.

so why don't you tell us what really happened?

tucker wouldn't ever lie to you. so what color of shoes was david depape wearing when he carried paul pelosi home from the bar? it's still real to you right?

Listen up, because I'm tired of repeating myself and you seem to be deliberately missing the point. Whatever things you may, in your opinion, decide are "odd" when it comes to reporting on an old man having his skull cracked by a crazy person, you have to be straining very hard indeed to get from "strange" to Sexcapades for Seniors.

Yea, I couldn’t imagine that guy avoiding any charge. Video evidence and two cops witnessing an assault is going to be pretty airtight.

Yea that’s the whole problem with the strange narrative. I can completely agree initial reports and some items felt weird that’s point A. But then all credibility is lost when someone uses that to dive off a cliff to conspiracy theory R of a sexual affair of some kind. Very fucked up how that initial thread went and eye opening how people approach some old guy getting hit with a hammer when it’s the husband of a politician they don’t like.

Readding this thread I get the feeling some posters are upset that an 80+ year old man was not banging a male prostitute. You really have to be some sort sexual deviant that your first thought about an 80+ year old man getting hit in the head with a hammer is I bet he was getting his cheeks clapped by a male prostitute. The family values party never ceases to surprise me.
the family values party has become progressive though because a majority of the elected GOP adulterers lately are women.

Here’s the problem…. That video came out waaaaaaaay after the video of Mr. Pelosi answering the door in his undies. Do I wish it was the other way around? YES.
You mean the home security footage came out after the direct police cam? Why does that surprise you? What are you insinuating with this post?

What's weird is they don't question the bizarre nature of their own narrative. Let's imagine a scenario where DePape WAS his gay escort lover for some reason. Why would he come to the door in his boxers if he was trying to hide that he had a gay lover? How is that any more believable of a scenario than Paul Pelosi being attacked at night by an intruder? Their conspiracy does nothing to make the event more plausible and is disproven by camera footage and the testimony of all involved. There's no reason to buy into this conspiracy other than partisan hatred for the other side.

It also serves to prevent discussion about the actual causes of this attack: right-wing stochastic terrorism, with the former president at the forefront. The court filing two days ago, seeking to reinstate the gag order, outlined that the clerk in NY has received “hundreds of threatening and harassing voicemail messages that have been transcribed into over 275 single-spaced pages.” Nobody would care about some court clerk if Trump wasn't obsessed with harassing her.

LOL at you still trying to find logical reasoning to explain the right making it a conspiracy about gay hammers.
“LOL” I’m small potatoes. Countless podcasters were having a fun time joking about it. I already said 2 pages ago that I didn’t believe it but would understand why they ALL thought/said/talked about it. Like I already said, you wanna “lol and lol to lol” than direct your comments to podcasters and people with actual platforms. Not me.

Just make sure you speak to them with an “lol” to begin with to let them know you are serious.

Bruh,

The first bit of the story that trickled out was: guy breaks into Pelosi's house in the middle of the night and assaults him.

Then we hear about a phone call where Mr. Pelosi isn't actively screaming his head off. Liberal conclusion: Well the guy might be standing next to him. Republican conclusion: he was fucking him and just took a break to call 9-11.

Then we hear about how Mr. Pelosi answered the door in his boxers. Liberal conclusion: Well it is the middle of the night, and he was likely woken up by the intruder. Republican conclusion: The cops interrupted them mid-buttsex.

Concluding that Pelosi was secretly fucking a gay prostitute when suddenly his window was shattered and the cops showed up, has got to be a stretch so far I'm amazed anyone here, even at are most partisan extremes, would be dumb enough to fall for.

At this point we really have to ask ourselves: Why is it, whenever we hear any story, about just any topic, the first thing a republican mind thinks of is "Could this be about two guys fucking?"
Refer to my comment to the “lol” queen above. Or just read my past posts ITT. And if you think it was “republicans” (which is an obvious exaggeration) you are sadly mistaken. But I already explained this already ITT.
