So you are comparing a 400 mile West Bank border with the almost 2,000 miles that the US shares with Mexico?
Yes? Why can't I make that comparison?
if you are living in a fantasy world why not compare it to the great wall of china or the berlin wall etc etc....
I saw a guy bench press 400 pounds. Should be just as easy to do 2000.
I'm not convinced this is a fair comparison at all.
Are you trying to say this would stop Mexico from using suicide bomb attacks on Texas and California? I' not sure that is much of a problem.
Illegal immigrants are very often here legally and then over stay their visa, they also come in from areas where there wouldn't be a wall even if we did build a wall the length of the border.
Also do you have any evidence supporting your claim about China's wall being successful?
Why is wall coverage a non-linear function? What makes it so much harder to cover 5x the space if you have enough patrol? You realize some things scale differently than others?
At the end of the day, a wall is good for keeping people out. When smuggling illegal contraband to and from Mexico is as easy as walking across then a wall will definitely help, and pay for itself, amortized across however long it operates.
And the Great Wall helped China protect themselves against invading Mongolians. The Mongolians had to take a much longer routes than going directly into the main city in minutes, giving the Chinese soldiers more time to prepare for an invasion. It served vital to the defense of Beijing for centuries.
We are not defending against invading Mongolian army's or suicide bombers do you understand that?
Also bringing illegal contraband into the us from Mexico is not as easy as walking across the border. Not even close. You are either willfully ignorant or stupid to believe that.
Tucker only hosts obnoxious long neck trolls to make himself seem smart
Liar. Everyone here knows it's impossible to Bench more than Teh 275
The 2013 massacre in the same town was levels more horrifying, if I remember correctly.
It is what stopped me buying their drugs.
If you held an international competition for the most vicious, sadistic and violent organised crime group, the Cartels would take Gold. Maybe the Russian Thieves in Law with That Look in their eyes could give the Cartels a good fight, but the American and Sicilian Mafia, Yakuza etc etc would be competing for Bronze at best.
It’s no wonder those poor people want into the States. It’s also no wonder anyone who cares about the States would want to monitor, closely, who comes in from there. These people, victims and perps, are in a state of being that does not relate to in any way to people who identify as unicorns and want a few thousand bathrooms built for them by their government.
I was so admiring of those Mexican vigilantes that were standing up to those pieces of shit a few years ago. Last I checked, the corrupt government was beginning to go after them and their guns. I stopped reading then... don’t want to know what happened.
Not only that but representation is skewed in border states. They get population numbers from the census which counts all people, including illegals. They effect our elections whether they vote or not
Since the 1980's drug use in Israel has evolved from a marginal concern to a central problem afflicting the entire society. Israel is a dynamic, modern western society, and as such, often tends to copy behavior patterns common to other western countries. Unfortunately, this includes unwanted behaviours like drug use, a phenomenon that does not exclude any social status, and which has devastating social, economic and cultural consequences, threatening the stability of the entire society.
For once the US border isnt as populated so patrolling is more expensive.
Secondly the US-Mexican trade amounts to over 500 billion dollars a year, there is plenty of commercial traffic going where drugs can go hidden.
Why would a drug dealer want to move to the US when they are doing fine in Mexico?
The wall was built and finished in 2003, why bring up drug problems that started in 1980?
Also as far as illegal immigration specifically:
99% decrease in illegal immigration since the Israel wall was erected.
