I mean more along the lines of mass shootings and terrorism. Every week now, it's become a norm.
Well, even sub-5 murders per 100,000 is still too high. My home state clocked in at around 1.3 for 2017 to get back to its pre-energy boom levels, which is a lot closer to the homicide rates found Northwestern Europe. There hasn't been a "mass shooting" (3 victims?) there in a quarter century.
