Saving Private Ryan
We Were Soldiers

Starship Troopers
the sequels sucked badly I bought them for 5 bucks because I was a fan
the CGI cartoon in 1999-2000 was really good.

The Hurt Locker wasn't bad but definitely missed the mark when it came to realism.

9th company is a pretty damn good modern war movie.

I liked zero dark thirty but that wasn't a war film,it was a CIA,spycraft\tradecraft film with a special appearance by seal team six.

Blackhawk Down and its not even close.

American Sniper had potential but they kind of blew it by Hollywood'izng the final battle.

The only thing I hate about Black Hawk Down is that they changed a major character out because he was a pedo in real life. Then they made the new character out to be better

Black Hawk Down is significantly better than any of those films. The rest of those are mediocre.

That's your mediocre opinion. Hotel Rwanda is the best of those, but not my fav.

Black Hawk Down for me

I find The Lone Survivor to be too "Hollywood-ish" towards the end with the dramatic village massacre and big battle, which was greatly exaggerated. I also didn't like how The Hurt Locker portrayed a couple of EOD guys were running around in a HUMVEE like they're spec ops when usually these guys are attached to a regular unit. Hotel Rwanda was more of a war drama film than an action film, and American Sniper felt kinda meh to me.

I have not seen 13 Hours yet.

I don't like any of the movies in the OP -.- not a single one appealed to me.

I did really enjoy the series Generation Kill though, so I'm cheating and going with that.
