Solid ass day. Next week is my last week in the gym before I'm on vacation for 1.5 weeks and lifting will be sporadic if at all. Chances are I'll take the time off to heal up from all the awesomeness. So I finished up 495 today and I might test my maxes next week to see if it's feasible to hit my goal for the meet in June and decide to do it. I'm going to keep throwing on some wraps for my last set every now and then to get some practice using them. I figure doing an extra rep makes up for it. I don't know how the hell some of you monsters do sit-ups with a 45 pound plate behind your head. The 25 almost killed me, my abs were spasming so bad it hurt afterwards. Just another weak point to work on.

I can do one thing Donut can't!

*Celebratory fist pump*

Your squats, front and back, continue to humiliate me. Good work.

I've has two recent massage clients who have had deep trigger points in their brachioradialis, right in the muscle belly over the elbow joint. It took me a good 20 minutes to get through the superficial tissue enough to find it, but once I did both their elbow pains were greatly relieved. You SHOULD be able to dig in there yourself and I'd bet a hundred bucks it will help.

Wanted to make sure you saw this Dan. Nice work on the squats, too. Your form has gotten dialed as hell in the last ~2 years.

I'm not very talented at massage but I will dig around there and see if I feel anything.

I'm curious to see what I can add to my PR in belt & wraps versus just a belt. Some federations allow wraps in raw divisions and personally I don't have a problem with them. Hell even weightlifting allows knee wraps. I still consider belt & knee sleeves my "main" lift and will constitute 95% of my squatting.

Didn't feel all that thrilled to be in the gym today. So I just cut the assistance work short by working up to one balls out set.

Dear sir,

You are cordially invited to stop doing front squats.

P.S. I had Rogue work up a quote for my business plan and they had the Rogue/Westside racks that we saw at the Arnold listed as $650/each.

I would rather pay $2000 for a similar Elite rack because it is fucking hardcore. Seriously though, those racks were built like a fucking Rolex and that's a good price for even a shitty rack.

Great success. I bought some time before Mittens starts using my max as a training weight again.

Afterwards we threw the football around for half an hour outside. I am out of shape and my shoulder is killing me. Been awhile since I threw anything.
