Jones stopped finishing fights the minute he started fighting guys that are his size and not washed up. In fact his only finish that that meets those criterias he managed to test positive.

GSP finished the old crop of WW exactly like Jon did, in equally impressive fashion. He also finished the smaller WWs with ease.

Fact is they have an almost identical resume. Only one of them is a proven cheater though.

uhhhh remember GSP changed his style to safety first after the Serra loss? So maybe he coulda finished more opponents than he did post serra. also Jones' prime were vs guys who were at the end of or out of their prime, so like i said in the past his resume is impresive because of the NAMES on it however those names were nearing the end of their respective best years. Finishes are more definitive than decisions however you try holding a grow ass man, who is an actual proffesional fighter, down for almost an entire 25minutes... finish or not that shit finishes anyone mentally.

They were all 205 so throw that size advantage stuff out, nobody is built like the next guy. Every fight will have one fighter having some kind of advantage over the other, be it size, skill or even ring iq.

Rampage was in great shape.
Rashad looked awesome.
Bonnar was as good as he's ever been.
Vitor wasn't fully transformed by trt but he looked great as well and almost won that fight.
Sonnen- I'll give you that
Machida was still a killer.
Glover was unbeaten in years.
Bader was on a tear.
Dc was definitely at his best.
Osp- ill give you that.
Gus has never looked better.
Shogun was the champion.
Matuchenko was even decent then too.


Now remember all these guys with the exception of Gus were absolutely destroyed.
