Russia Collusion megathread v8: Royale w/cheese Grand Jury Edition (FBI raids Manafort)

I used to think the same thing but apparently Mueller's team went over there and interviewed him in the summer. He spoke with them but won't speak to Congress.
Why I think it's full of shit.
Tbh I haven't even looked into it though. The whole idea of a "pee tape" that people have been referring to derisively just strikes me as silly nonsense.

I don't care about the pee thing and I doubt the investigators due. It's more about potential financial ties.

We'll see, whether good or bad for this administration, it'll wind down eventually and much will be revealed.
There'll be disappointment on all sides as there always is in presidential scandal hearings.

The pee tape dossier has bin front and center in kicking this whole thing off. Shows what a joke this whole fiasco is.

Their trying to find out who paid for it hoping it will shed light on its legitimacy.

Is there even a Hint of collusion out there?

What a fooking joke, and just how gullible can people get?

Hill Russia investigators: Committee still searching for 'any hint of collusion'

http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/04/politics/mark-warner-richard-burr-russia-investigation/index.html

Burr said the committee's examination of the memos of former FBI Director James Comey "has reached a logical end as it relates to the Russia investigation," indicating the committee didn't plan to delve further into the question of obstruction of justice, something Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating.
Burr and Warner brought a chart to the news conference that detailed the amount of work the committee has done so far, including more than 100 interviews at over 250 hours, more than 4,000 transcript pages and 100,000 pages of documents reviewed.
Burr said the committee has interviewed every intelligence community official involved in drafting the report on Russian election meddling, as well as Obama administration officials involved.

Quoted for posterity.

Because according to dingbats, you tip off the subject of your investigation, especially when it's someone who can wipe away crimes at any time.

If the Manafort raid wasn't evidence enough for you as to how Mueller works, then you're hopelessly far gone into retard land.

But hey, keep spiking the football at the 50, no way that backfires.

Manafort won't connect trump with collusion.

This whole #impeachburger might be the worst case of blue balls I have ever seen.

Russia used kaspersky to hack into NSA

Employee took malware home where Kaspersky software scanned it, correctly identified it as malicious and uploaded it to cloud. Kaspersky shared it with host government just as every AV company would do. Zomg breached! Might aswell upload your tools to VirusTotal.

NSA is a god damn mess and director Rogers is a disaster.

Most people don't realize the dubious nature of the whole Steele "dossier ". It got turned into a dossier when trump said he didn't want to get briefings every day from the FBI. So they turned the Steele info into a dossier to show trump what kind of crap was out there that he should be aware of. They didn't believe it was true themselves but it made the media and took on a life of it's own.

Then you have Brennan who is a real real piece of work that started driving this thing.

"Dems get nervous as evidence for collusion fades."

http://www.denverpost.com/2017/10/1...s-accusations-of-trump-russia-collusion-fade/

Since the investigation began, Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn and others have tacitly admitted to Foreign Agents Registration Act violations, answered questions about this or that meeting or been subject to aggressive moves by Mueller’s investigative team looking into the financial dealings of some of President Donald Trump’s associates. And yet, nothing has confirmed — or even suggested — nefarious collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign. These collateral reports are all sideshows used by the media to create the impression that something significant could still arise connecting the Trump campaign to Russia. But they are just a lot of fog.

Anyway, with multiple investigations underway, a packed legislative calendar ahead and all other options exhausted, it appears that White House lawyer Ty Cobb, John Kelly and others may have finally gotten the White House to do the right thing.

But in Washington, being innocent is only an advantage — it is not determinative. Democrats in Congress and liberals everywhere will refuse to accept Mueller’s inevitable finding of no collusion. And even as the collusion story fades, the mainstream media’s latest fixation is that, somehow, Russian manipulation of social media ads during the 2016 campaign was significant. But if the media really thinks this issue is a big deal, it should be asking where the Obama administration was when all this egregious hijacking of American democracy took place. Will anyone suggest that the Obama administration was to blame and that the former president’s incompetence led to this problem, or will they somehow make the story about Trump?

Hmm. Perhaps recent headlines can guide us. In a New York Times story titled “How Russia Harvested American Rage to Reshape U.S. Politics,” Nicholas Confessore and Daisuke Wakabayashi write that the Kremlin’s actions constituted “a far-reaching Russian program to influence the 2016 presidential election.” That sounds serious, right? But who was it that controlled the United States’ vast intelligence and law enforcement capabilities at the time? Those people should be held to account, right? It is revealing that the story never mentions former President Barack Obama and that it does not quote or reference any officials from his administration.

Fractured and without a legitimate agenda, Democrats have nothing going for them besides Trump’s tweets and making false accusations about the president and those around him. They’ve propped up the Trump-Russia collusion story for too long, and now that the White House is cooperating with Mueller’s investigation, liberals are beginning to look desperate. The Democrats may be forced to move on.

If there is one thing you can count on in this world, it's Democrats overplaying their hand, convincing themselves they've already won, and then losing and getting humiliated...and then somehow, seemingly with no self awareness at all, still declare victory.

This will go EXACTLY like the election results. Dems prematurely celebrate victory. They lose, but convince themselves they still won, because the rules of the game were not in their favor. Just wait, Trump will be cleared, and the day after, they will start bitching about how the campaign rules need to adjusted, and if they were different Trump would've been impeached.. I guaran-fucking-tee it.

You never did tell me, how's Mueller's little G-Man hanging? You talk to him recently?

Me? I've never bin a insider. You got the scoop Trump is done?

I mean, i'm not the one in here desperately wanting this investigation to be a hoax and definitively calling it so, that's you. I figured since you were so sure that you had an inside track.

Clearly (as expected) you're going with feels over reals. If the investigation comes back with charges, you're going to be gobsmacked.
