Nah I’m sticking to the subject. So are you saying people in this thread are not pushing a narrative about CA/blue state cities being worse than other places? Bullshit proven to be bullshit; that narrative is being pushed all over the place. Are you actually reading the thread and things people post?
What they are talking with the larceny about is in large part car theft; there is a big problem with car theft. I'd rather have that than violence any day. Are you going to also make a thread about violence in Memphis, or high violence in Southern states? You guys absolutely crack me up. Move the goalpost when you are proven wrong.
I know it makes you feel good to say people you disagree with make terrible cities, but that is unfortunately not true. Blue counties make up 70% if America's GDP (look it up).
San Fran doesn’t have the same issues as say a Chicago. They do have a major issue with businesses leaving. Like just in the last 3 days a Macys, Walmart, the only north face store and like 5 more Starbucks closing to add to the already huge list.
Stay in context to the actual issue. San Francisco absolutely had a major issue with theft causing a retail exodus. They also have a homeless and drug issue. I’m not saying it’s worse than other cities in other metrics.
I’m not interested in this because I’m right wing (I’m not). I’m fairly objective politically with stuff like this and I literally work in commercial real estate so this particular issue interests me. It’s a crazy thing to see happening in such a great city.
