Lol yeah it’s true. I go to this cafe for bubble tea here in Kelowna where I get a chance to chat with the workers there. The boss is Cantonese though, so he has a bit of the Cantonese accent and one of the other girls working there is from Taiwan so she she has the funny Taiwanese accent for a few words. My wife on the other hand is Filipina, so she gets annoyed when I speak it cause she can’t understand shit.

I have quite a few stories like that haha, and some where I catch Chinese people off guard here in Canada. Good fun.

Haha I shall do my best. Now I’m trying to learn Bisaya too, but my wife’s English is near flawless, so she doesn’t have the patience to teach me. I found some online programs for learning Bisaya though, so I’m going at that little by little. I just know a few simple sentences and random vocabulary so far that I pick up from her and her fam when they talk and look up the words in the dictionary app I have on my phone.

A significant amount of Japanese men are becoming "herbivore men." Some term which is essentially the equivalent of Asian MGTOW. Presently some I know are Filipinas, some Jamaicans, a few East Indians, a Mexican, a mixed bag really.

My ex, a Chinese woman had a job of some kind the whole time we were married, and so did all of her Chinese girlfriends. These were normal middle class people, not like CEOs of corporations or whatever. Not sure what you’re on about.
