Heck, there's a group of people right now facing charges in Georgia for trying to throw out the votes of the people, and implement their own government. One of those people facing charges is a former President!
They even tried to interupt the peaceful transfer of power on January 6th by breaking into the Capital building, attacking police officers, and smearing human feces. They constructed a gallows, and chanted about hanging Mike Pence because they had some fantasy about the Vice President ignoring the Constitution, and installing their own leaders. It even led to charges of Seditious Conspiracy!
It really sounds like they want to uphold the "system".
