We're here to elect a water carrier for the fossil fuel industry.
He says he appreciates her being there but asks 'are we here to elect a governor or a scientist?'"
What's "my team"? I've never lived in Pennsylvania and never heard of this guy, and have never voted in any election for anything. What i'm telling you is that controlling the earth's climate is nowhere near a governor's job.Okay, first of all, you have absolutely no idea about her work experience. So let’s forget about that.
Her question was about a dangerously stupid and irresponsible opinion that a man running for the highest executive office in the commonwealth believes. She is allowed to call him on this bullshit.
Who would you have her appeal to if climate change is a concern for her? The courts? Well that wouldn’t make sense. The legislature? She could approach them on it. Frankly a gubernatorial candidate is exactly who she should be addressing these concerns to.
It seems like you’re mad that someone on your team got backed into a corner by a teenager.

I think its silly to accuse him of sexism based on just that, he was clearly dismissing her based on her youth which she kind of opened herself up to by mentioning her age. But man what a blatant dodge, if a teenager can corner you so badly you have to default to "y-you're just a kid" and "I ain't no egghead!" then you know you're full of shit.
perfect post. Thing is, she phrased her question so perfectly that his answer was irrelevant; he got totally pwned.I think its silly to accuse him of sexism based on just that, he was clearly dismissing her based on her youth which she kind of opened herself up to by mentioning her age. the video narrative at the end accuses him of sexism.Who....who is talking about sexism?
Strauss might be young an naive, but it sounds like Wagner's old and out of touch. Basic knowledge on important issues is a must and shouldn't be dismissed like he did. No, they're not electing a scientist you muppet and hopefully not you either. I can't stand dismissive attitudes such as his in elected reps.
Weather =/= climatehttps://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/w...0-worst-man-made-environmental-disasters/dust
Man made natural disasters are a thing and they are well documented. Cute kids story though.
Its in the video you posted at 1:09, did you not watch it?Who....who is talking about sexism?
No doubt. He might as well have told her to stfu as it amounts to the same thing. Not public service material if you ask me.And what an absolute ridiculous answer -- are we hear to elect a scientist or a governor? How about a governor that listens to scientists and has the integrity and humility to learn.

So you posted it without watching it?I watched a different video, I guess
So you posted it without watching it?
Bahahahaha! What a fucking idiot! Body heat? Are there really people that believe such shit?
I can understand the politicians that do it, fossil fuels are were/are big money.
It's the citizens that believe that shit that I don't understand.
Some of these people are like caricatures of southern dixiecratsThat guy is infuriating. "are we here to elect a governor or a scientist?" America is not Spain during the Inquisition. Since when is science and governance mutually exclusive in the United States?
