Sun is closer than ever it feels
You might be better off reading the actual Atlantic article to learn what it says, rather than reading third-party rage-porn commentary.
The article notes that there are few black people living along the path, and says that this has nothing to do with the solar system being racist, and then uses that as a segue into the connections between population density and racial demographics.

Jesus' butthole. There's a lot of talk lately that the eclipse does not involve the moon passing in front of the sun. Is anyone else run across this? That it is some other object.
You are exactly right. They stop short of accusing the sun and moon of racism. You might be better off reading the actual Atlantic article to learn what it says, rather than reading third-party rage-porn commentary.

What I've been hearing about the eclipse?

The Moon people know what's really going onSeriously, thinking that it isn't the moon causing the eclipse is possibly the most insane idea I've ever seen anyone even mention here. Pleeease tell us where you've seen "a lot of talk" saying this?
The only phenomena that's really interesting to me is the so called shadow lines. I'm curious to hear if anyone sees them
