Starting Week 4. I'm down 5.4 pounds total in 3 weeks. I'm very happy with that pace, especially considering that I had my birthday & St. Patty's Day in the past 3 weeks. Other than those days, I've stuck with the diet reasonably well.

This week should be interesting since I'm travelling to Louisiana Wednesday & Thursday for work. Not sure what I'm going to end up doing with diet & workout while travelling...

Today's plan:

Moderate Carb Day today: 330g Carbs, 330g Protein, 77g Fat

Actual was about: 305g Carbs, 321g Protein, 58g Fat + 3 pieces of sushi (with rice), so I think I was right on for my target today.

BW 217.4


BW has increased 2 days in a row. Not sure why - maybe due to lack of cardio lately. I've been really busy at work & haven't had much time. I'll be at a customer site all day today - sticking to the diet will be tough. I'll pack a couple of MetRx bars...

I'm travelling for the next 2 days, so should be able to get some cardio done in the hotel. Of course the travel will also make the diet tough.

Moderate Carb Day today, like yesterday: 330g Carbs, 330g Protein, 77g Fat
 
damn man i wish i was on your meal plan lol i just read through all this fapping

im 201 and 11% bodyfat and leaving for marine boot camp and they have fucking bullshit weight standards even though im in better shape than all the fuckoffs that im going in with, 19 pullups 102 crunches in 2 minutes and a 9:10 mile and a half and they say i have to be 195 :( its some damn bullshit

I was in Louisiana for the past 2 days, didn't stick to the diet very close, but did ok. Kept the carbs somewhat low, did the best I could with the protein, but for sure it was light. Didn't work out. Was planning on going for a run Thursday am, but I still have this nagging cold, which now seems to be getting worse again.

Here's a pic of one of my meals - Cajun Red Fish (blackened) covered in shrimp, crawfish & crab meat - yes that is a cheese covered baked potato in the background. Didn't eat it.

Today will be a moderate carb day: 330g Carbs, 330g Protein, 77g Fat

Did ok on the diet today, but think I was a bit short on carbs & protein. I was at 150g Carbs & 140g Protein & then I ate a bunch of sushi & sashimi. I probably got the protein close to 200 & the carbs close to 250.

Starting Week 5. I've lost a total of 6.4 pounds so far. Not too bad, especially considering I didn't do a very good job on the diet this past week. Ate too much junk - too many burgers. This week should be a pretty good week.

I'm also having trouble getting the cardio in, I've been sick since the first week of March, so energy is running low. It feels like I have a basic cold, but it shouldn't be sticking around this long. I'm going to try to get to the doctor today to get some meds.

At any rate, Medium Carb Day today: 330g Carbs, 330g Protein, 77g Fat.

Ended up a little light today, my best estimate has me around 250-270g carbs, 250-270g protein.

So I am doing a pretty good job on the diet on low carb days. But I'm sticking to it good enough on high carb and medium carb days. Need to do better.

The fat was way high...had some avocado egg rolls at CPK during lunch.

Making some minor changes to the diet starting this week. Here's my targets:

High Carb Day: 420g Carbs, 210g Protein
Low Carb Day: 105g Carbs, 315g Protein, 73g Fat
Medium Carb Day: Same as low carb, except add 80g Carb & 25g Protein after my workout.

This week I'll have 2 High Carb days, 3 Medium & 2 Low.

Today is a Low Carb day.

Did a good job on my diet today: 113g Carbs, 316g Protein, 70g Fat.

Did not do a great job on the diet last week, only lost 0.2 lbs. At least I didn't gain. Diet's getting a little more intense this month, so results should be good.

Today is a Medium Carb day:

105g Carbs, 215g Protein, 73g Fat + 80g Carbs & 25g Protein right after my workout

Today will probably be somewhere between a Medium & High Carb Day. I have a High Carb Day scheduled, but won't be getting as much exercise as planned due to the fact that I'm deloading this week, and I tweaked my back.

Medium Carb Day. Targets: 105g Carbs, 315g Protein, 73g Fat, PLUS an additional 80g Carbs & 25g Protein right after my workout

Ended up today with about 190g Carbs, 312g Protein, 52g Fat.

EXCEPT.....my daughter made some snickerdoodle cookies from scratch, so I had one. And then another and another . I ended up eating 4 or 5. *sigh* they were so good....

Haven't posted in a few days, traveled all weekend for my kids soccer tournament, which killed the diet. But good news is they are in the final 4 for the state (over 60 teams). Really cool - tournament continues in 2 weeks.

Today is a high carb day, targets are: 420g Carbs, 210g Protein
