No i clearly pointed out that glorifying stuff any practitioner of BJJ should be able to do like it means he's not still 99% a kickboxer is laughable. He has "cross-trained" as hundreds of strikers did back when i watched on the reg, but it was as a back up only. Then come fight night they'd still get taken down and have nothing but basic moves on the ground. Someone who trains BJJ to actually use it as a weapon in mma wouldn't claw tooth and nail to stand back up, they'd be happy on the ground, unless....... they were a kickboxer who wanted to do kickboxing, like i said. Boxing has been around for atleast 130 years as a prize fighting sport. MMA has only been around since the 90's. The best pure wrestlers GSP has been on the wrestling mat against were members of the Canadian national team. In fact, he wanted to be on the squad many years ago. The Canadian national team isn't shit btw. GSP was a great MMA wrestler but in pure wrestling he wouldn't have faired well.

You seem to think that taking a wrestler down in a submission grappling match means something. We've seen some of the most decorated freestyle & folkstyle wrestlers get taken down by guys in MMA. Sign me up for mma i guess because today i've learned that mma is a 1-for-1 representation of real world street fighting, and that going into boxing and complaining that boxers are only winning in boxing is the norm, because it's not a real fight, whereas mma is a real fight. I learned I've never trained a day in my life even though i could've sworn i did both BJJ and Muay Thai for many years, and lastly i learned that going into mma as a kickboxer and kickboxing means you are not a kickboxer, because as long as you get up when someone is incapable of holding you down, that means you're Roger fucking Gracie.

It's been fun, i've learned a lot, boxing is dead.
