Thanks for the info. If it is established that the squatters are a gang or doing illegal activities, cant the police get involved?Spanish legislation is super-lax with squatting. In some cities flat squatting is conducted as a extortion practice and by drug gangs to gain temporary basis to conduct bussines. I refuse to buy property in Spain and not very familiar as how these people act, but I think that, since they cannot legally kick the squatters, they agree with the condominum adminstrators to estabish "access controls" to harass them, but again I don't know much about it.
I understand that there might be protections against kicking out a family that maybe is a few months late with rent, but the police cant do something about a known gang extorting an owner or selling drugs or whatever?
