Is Goku Beatable?

I'll answer for the Comic Book and Anime fans.

First off, it's Goku.

This also doesn't have a simple yes/no answer because DragonBall and Marvel/DC cannot be compared because they have completely different ideas on what makes a 'superhero'

Dragon Ball (Z, GT, Super) is at the heart a martial arts anime, that is what it revolves around, elite fighters going one on one using speed, strength, energy, timing etc.

Marvel/DC is a whatever comes into your head without limitations comic, so you have characters that can literally warp reality and change time lines.

For instance, Goku with his mastered Ultra Instinct is nigh unbeatable and godly powerful, thus far the greatest transformation we have seen in Dragon Ball, however this little boy..

Could literally alter Gokus universe and make him a bottle of ketchup and use Goku ketchup on his chips, doing all of this within a moments thought. It doesn't matter how strong Goku gets he cannot do anything.

In many breakdowns it has generally been agreed Goku and other Z fighters like Vegeta go to about the High Father level in Marvel/DC which is taking on guys such as Odin, Thors father, Darkseid etc.

When you start to get onto Celestial and higher you are dealing with beings that don't physically fight like Goku wants to, they can alter reality, change time, alter molecules etc.

Compare it to how the angels are perceived in DBS, the characters like Goku, Vegeta, Jiren, Hit etc. no matter how amazing and powerful know they cannot even imagine landing a punch or hurting an angel it isn't even conceivable.

Characters like The Living Tribunal, The Spectre etc. Well it wouldn't even be a fight again, Goku would have no choice to bow, even Goku fused with Jiren with Ultra Instinct would be nothing but a rain drop in the ocean to The Living Tribunals power.

Goku would take out Thanos WITHOUT the stones, with them and Thanos can alter time and reality he wouldn't need to fight to win only Celestial and higher can intervene.

For me Goku would solo the Avengers, no problem, Hulk and Thor last longer than one minute but less than five providing Goku is enraged and wants it over.

Against Justice League is a bit more tricky, Superman causes major problems ofcourse. WW also causes problems as she is also mega powerful. Goku would beat after a good fight.

Flash is interesting, Goku is fast but not that fast, once he touches Flash though it is over.

Full powered ultra instinct Goku makes it as far as Odin, Zeus etc. So right to the top of Sky Father level which is impressive considering they are God tier.

Seeing as Goku isn't immune to the Hakai from Beerus i'd say there is no reason to think Goku can resist magic or higher powers.

Ofcourse the writers would just say Goku is immune so he can win lol

But this is where you can't really compare them, Goku only compares to fighting only characters.

To put things into perspective though, Zeno the most feared character and powerful in DB would not be top rank or even near it in Marvel going by feats.

And look how scared everyone is of him.

Everytime someone has been stronger than Goku and someone else has had to defeat them Goku has been dead. Cell for starters. Gohan surpassed Goku at that point of time and would have defeated him. There were numerous times Vegeta has been stronger than Goku and could have defeated him. The difference is Goku miraculously gets stronger than Vegeta or his opponents by unlocking some new form. Like Super Saiyan God or Super Dooper Saiyan 3 Electric Boogaloo.

Anyone who has killed Goku has defeated him. Characters from other franchises who could beat Goku however are

1. The Phantom - Wears more purple, has a nice skull ring, Packing two gats.
2. One Punch Man - Bald, one punches everything.
3. Ryuk - Death Note - Would simply kill him anytime any place.
4. Vampire Hunter D - Can't be beaten by much, possessed hand would simply absorb all attacks.
5. Pikachu - Would zap him into next century.
6. Kai - Beyblades - I have not once seen Goku win a beyblade battle.
7. Yugi - Yugioh - Shadow Realm for Goku because he just activated his trap card.
8. Captain Planet - Hates pollution and knows Goku is garbage.
9. Devil Jin - Simply cool as shit.
10. Happy Gilmore - Can beat Shooter McGavin at golf, can beat Goku at golf.

He was transformed in to a chocolate by Majin Buu and Roshi was able to use that magic techniche to capture far stronger characthers.

The problem with DB is basically everithing is settled in a arm wrestling contest (who is stronger/tougher), Marvel/DC have more varied and rutless attack, no amercan characther is going to wait for him to charge up his Genki dama to see how strong he is

Even a guy like Doom will be too much for dumbass Goku, unless it was a staight up tournament encounter .

These would be some good battles.

As dumb as goku looks, when focused and serious he can be pretty smart in terms of strategy. I think his biggest weakness is him being too nice/humble and having rules. Hes the type to not go for the kill. But will call it truths if he feels his opponent can no longer continue. Guys like doom can use this against him.

Except for all the times he has not.

He was drugged by the Frieza clone very easily in DBS, he gave up against Cell, was defeated by Hit, was defeted by Majin Buu many times and only won cause he was allowed to charge his last attack as other guys were fighting Buu.
