I'm surprised you don't have me on 'ignore.'
For a year? No, I don't think so, I did not know how this conflict would turn out 12 months ago. No, I did not say Ukraine would be finished by now. I actually thought Ukraine would have won this conflict by now seeing how poorly the Russians have performed. Indeed, the side that finishes with the stronger Army wins the majority of times. You seem to have a hard time with this concept. Let us look at historically strong Armies:
. United States
. Soviet Union
. Russia
. China
. France
. Germany
. Britain
. Spain
. Italy (Romans)
. Greece (Spartans)
. North Vietnam
These Armies have also lost major battles and/or wars. - Record for the United States:
. Civil War: Union beats the Confederacy
. Korea: Tie (unfinished conflict)
. Vietnam: Loss
. Gulf War: Win
. Iraq: Loss
. Afghanistan: Loss
The Confederacy started out very strong and lost. Americans in Korea started out very strong and tied. Americans in Vietnam started out very strong and lost. Americans in Iraq started out very strong and lost. Americans in Afghanistan started out very strong and lost. Germany started WWII very strong and lost. 300 Spartans + 6,700 Helots almost beat the entire Persian Army (300,000) at one point but lost - Battle of Thermopylae, 480 BC.
