Ngannou probably has a chance (still Fury will likely win) since Fury's chin is not what it used to be and he is slower and more sloppy than before too. He was brawling in the last fight with Wilder.
Ngannou would ko him stiff in the first round. Fedor got almost ko'd by Fujita. Ngannou is far faster, stronger, and more accurate than Fujita, and can ko people with jabs and extremely short punches. Fedor would get counter punched to oblivion when he tries to charge Ngannou with haymakers...
Arona pretty much beat Fedor, but got robbed by corrupt judges. Ngannou can likely ko prime Fedor with a single jab. I give second Stipe fight level Ngannou 8/10 against prime Fedor.
That doesn't prove anything as he has shorter arms (so it's harder for him to land) and there are ways to avoid punching exchanges in MMA. Majority of Wilder's opponents weren't very good either.
You look to me like boxing fans looking for opportunity to shit on MMA. Ngannou's jab and uppercuts may have more ko power than Wilder's, albeit Wilder may have stronger hooks. Wilder's jab isn't any better than Ngannou's. He just has longer arms. Ngannou throws haymakers much more rarely than...
His best punch ko punch is a shovel hook. He dropped Stipe with a short straight, and ko'd him with a short jab. The uppercut/shovel hook that ko'd Cain was incredibly short. Also, Ngannou's shovel hook counters are more skillful than anything Wilder has ever shown.
Young Fury outboxed old Klitschko years ago and Wilder lost three times to old, pretty slow Fury. Wilder has more height, reach than Ngannou, and maybe more power (I'm not convinced of that since he never ko'd people with incredibly short punches like Ngannou). Ngannou is far more skilled at...
Wilder can box but is much has below average technique for a high level boxer. Ngannou has way better footwork, combinations, counters, and has more technical punches overall. Compare the second Ngannou vs Stipe and slugfest in the third Widler vs Fury.
Current heavyweight UFC is a joke in terms of skills and talent, which made it easy for him to stack up kos. Similar situation to Fedor and Travis Fulton going on long streaks against cans and/or onedimensional fighters.
Sure, but he is not Ngannou level based on his current feats. I'm not sure if he is better than even Carwin. Carwin had more power but less reach. Prime JDS was faster than both and very well could more power than Sergei.
Sergei doesn't hit anywhere as hard Carwin but has more reach. Much less Ngannou. Ngannou, Carwin. and sometimes even JDS displayed one hit ko power on many occasions. Sergei usually has to beat up people for large of a round before finally tkoing them.
