but star wars series owns matrix, and the 2nd star wars on snow planet or technically 5th is really good better than matrix.

Star Wars is a classic, but Imo the matrix is better on every level.

A New Hope is a classic. The Matrix was always a little bit overrated, but it was way better than it's weak sequels.

I voted Star Wars, but it might be getting a bump thanks to Empire while Matrix might be getting short changed thanks to Matrix 3.

I did watch The Matrix seven times while it was theaters though, so I probably should have went with The Matrix.

I think my main issues with Star Wars is that it was a little bit too kid friendly of a movie. That whole goofy muppets crossover and personally I'm not a fan of Mark Hamill. I have to go with the Matrix on this one but one can't under estimate the importance of Star Wars and the franchise it has.
