This sounds wildly blown out of proportion, dude just made a dumb mistake.
1A. She’s obviously got skills but she’s competing against schools with 30 kids in their graduating class. Maybe she’s actually a Leighton Vander Esch level talent but let’s pump the breaks a bit here.
Uhhh, alright. I've been talking about the guy getting sent to jail after telling a judge he didnt think showing up on time as a juror was that important. What issue are you talking about?
Alright cool. I just wanted to make sure we all knew that this dude was told straight to his face that if he fucked this up he'd go to jail. He goes ahead and fucks it up, said he didn't think it was all that serious, gets sent to jail, and now we're all supposed to be outraged.
I do not...
So does "sworn in as a juror" mean he got the letter, showed up, went through selection, got picked, had the lecture on juror protocol, then ignored it and got in trouble or no? I've never been selected for jury duty so I'm not really sure.
The only thing I can think of when I read about this is "no shit". It's the photo on my government issued identification, why should I be shocked that they would use that to identify me?
